This policy explains how Natto Games Pte. Ltd. (“Natto Games”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit nattogames.com or contact us. It covers this website only. Games and services we release later will have their own notices where needed.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic technical information needed to serve the site.
- Contact details. Your name, email address and the content of your message when you contact us by email or through the contact form.
- Playtest and careers information. Anything you include in an application, portfolio, CV or playtest enquiry.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser type, requested pages and timestamps in standard server logs for security and reliability.
The contact form on this site opens your own email app. It does not send your message to a third-party form processor, and we do not receive it until you choose to send the email.
2. How we use information
- To reply to your message and continue the conversation.
- To assess job applications and playtest enquiries.
- To keep the website secure, diagnose problems and understand overall traffic patterns.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
3. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on your consent when you contact us or apply for a role, our legitimate interests in running and securing the studio, and our need to comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not use a third-party analytics product. Fonts are served from our own domain. If we add analytics or embedded media later, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent first.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the studio — for example hosting, email and accounting providers — under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the studio, our team or others.
6. International transfers
We are based in Singapore and Finland and may use service providers in other countries. Where personal data moves across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection.
7. Retention
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, then for a reasonable period in case the conversation resumes. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, or to request a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email privacy@nattogames.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Singapore, this is the Personal Data Protection Commission; in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the studio grows. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
